Albany Institute of History and Art - , Albany, The Albany Institute of History & Art is a museum in Albany, New York "dedicated to collecting, preserving, interpreting and promoting interest in the history, art, and culture of Albany and the Upper Hudson Valley region". The museum is located at 125 Washington Avenue in downtown Albany. Founded in 1791, it is among the oldest museums in the US.

Arrowhead (Herman Melville) - Pittsfield, Arrowhead, which is also referred to as Herman Melville House, was the home of American author Herman Melville during his most productive years from 1850-1863. In this house in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, Melville wrote some of his major work: the novels Moby-Dick, Pierre, The Confidence-Man, and Israel Potter; a collection of short stories entitled The Piazza Tales and including "I and My Chimney," "Benito Cereno," "Bartleby the Scrivener," and "The Paradise of Bachelors and the Tartarus of Maids"; all his magazine stories; and some of his poetry.

Bartholomew's Cobble - Sheffield, Bartholomew's Cobble is a 329-acre National Natural Landmark, open space preserve, agricultural preserve, and bio-reserve located in southwest Massachusetts in the village of Ashley Falls abutting Canaan, Connecticut. The preserve contains over 800 plant species including North America's greatest diversity of ferns and the greatest overall biodiversity in Berkshire County, Massachusetts; it also contains Massachusetts' highest populations of ground nesting bobolinks.
