Carlyle House - , Alexandria, Carlyle House is a historic mansion in Alexandria, Virginia, built by Scottish merchant John Carlyle in 1751-53. It is situated in the city’s Old Town on North Fairfax Street between Cameron and King Streets.

Charles Sumner School - , Washington, The Charles Sumner School, established in 1872, was one of the earliest schools for African Americans in Washington, D.C. Named for the prominent abolitionist and United States Senator Charles Sumner, the school became the first teachers college for black citizens in the city and the headquarters of its segregated school system for African American students. It currently houses a small museum, a research room, art exhibits, and the archives of the District of Columbia Public Schools.

Chatham Manor - , Fredericksburg, Chatham Manor is the Georgian-style home built between 1768 and 1771 by William Fitzhugh on the Rappahannock River in Stafford County, Virginia, opposite Fredericksburg. It was for more than a century the center of a large, thriving plantation. Flanking the main house were dozens of supporting structures: a dairy, ice house, barns, stables. Down on the river were fish traps. The 1,280-acre estate included an orchard, mill, and a race track where Fitzhugh's horses vied with those of other planters for prize money.

CIA Museum - , Langley, The CIA Museum, administered by the Center for the Study of Intelligence, is the primary national archive for the collection, preservation, documentation and exhibition of intelligence artifacts, culture, and history. Colonial Beach - , Colonial Beach, , Virginia, Colonial Beach is a town in Westmoreland County, Virginia. The population was 3,228 at the 2000 census.
