Costen House - Pocomoke City, The Costen House is a historic U.S. home located at 206 Market Street, Pocomoke City, Maryland. Dr. Isaac Costen built the house circa 1870s and members of his family lived there for over a century. Dr. Costen became the first Mayor of Pokomoke City. Pemberton Hall (Salisbury, Maryland) - Salisbury, Pemberton Hall is a historic home located at Salisbury, Wicomico County, Maryland. It is a one and a half story, three-bay, Flemish bond brick house with a gambrel roof. The construction date of "1741" is scratched in a brick above the side door. One of Isaac Handy's, builder of Pemberton Hall, five sons was George Handy, a charter member of the Society of the Cincinnati. During the American Civil War, the Hall was the home of Allison Parsons, a Southern sympathizer, who insisted on firing a cannon upon the receipt of news of each Confederate victory.
