Chesapeake Beach Railway Station - Chesapeake Beach, The Chesapeake Beach Railway Station is a historic railway station located at Chesapeake Beach, Calvert County, Maryland. It is composed of two one-story, hip-roofed sections; one part was once an open passenger boarding area that was later enclosed for storage. The fort, established in 1917, is named for General George Gordon Meade, a Union Army general in the American Civil War. It covers 5,067 acres in Anne Arundel County, Maryland.

Fort Washington Park - Fort Washington, Fort Washington, located near the community of Fort Washington, Maryland in the US, was for many decades the only defensive fort protecting Washington D.C. The original fort, overlooking the Potomac River, was completed in 1809, and was named Fort Warburton. During the War of 1812, the fort was destroyed by its own garrison during a British advance. The current historic fort — maintained by the National Park Service — was initially constructed in 1824.
