Blackham Coliseum - Lafayette, Blackham Coliseum is a multipurpose arena in Lafayette, Louisiana. It was built on the University of Louisiana at Lafayette campus in 1950 as the home to the then-named USL Bulldogs, now called the Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns basketball teams. It remained the home for the men's team until the Cajundome was completed in 1984. The women still play the majority of their games at Blackham Coliseum. It hosted the Southland Conference men's basketball tournament in 1982.

Evangeline Downs - Opelousas, Evangeline Downs is an American race track and casino that is situated in St. Landry Parish, just east of Opelousas, Louisiana. With a seven furlong oval track, the facility provides close to 1,000 horse stalls for Thoroughbred flat racing and American Quarter Horse racing. The original track opened on April 28, 1966 at Carencro, Louisiana and remained there until 2005 when it moved to Opelousas, Louisiana as part of new racino operation.
