Black Bayou Lake National Wildlife Refuge - Monroe, Black Bayou Lake National Wildlife Refuge is one of five refuges managed in the North Louisiana Refuges Complex and one of 545 refuges in the National Wildlife Refuge System. Masur Museum of Art - Monroe, The Masur Museum of Art in Monroe, Louisiana in the US, is the largest visual arts museum in Northeast Louisiana. It is located in the former home of the Masur family, the Masur House, which is also referred to as the Slagle-Masur House, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
