It houses the courthouse that was the site of ten constitutional conventions that eventually produced the Constitution of Kentucky. The site became part of the park system in 1937.

Perryville Battlefield State Historic Site - Perryville, Perryville Battlefield State Historic Site is a 600-acre park near Perryville, Kentucky, in Boyle County. It is built on the site where many of the soldiers killed in the American Civil War Battle of Perryville were buried. A museum and several monuments commemorate the battle.
