Chief Vann House Historic Site - Chatsworth, The Chief Vann House is the first brick residence in the Cherokee Nation that has been called the "Showplace of the Cherokee Nation". Owned by a Cherokee chief named Chief James Vann, The Vann House is a Georgia Historic Site on the National Register of Historic Places and one of the oldest remaining structures in the northern third of the state of Georgia. Etowah Indian Mounds - Cartersville, Etowah Indian Mounds is a 54-acre archaeological site in Bartow County, Georgia south of Cartersville, in the US. Built and occupied in three phases, from 1000–1550 CE, the prehistoric site is that can be found on the north shore of the Etowah River. Etowah Indian Mounds Historic Site is a designated National Historic Landmark, managed by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources. It is the most intact Mississippian culture site in the Southeastern United States.
