Vogel State Park - Blairsville, Vogel State Park is a 233-acre or 94 hectares state park located at the base of Blood Mountain in the Chattahoochee National Forest. It became one of the first two parks in Georgia when it founded a state park system in 1931. Much of the park was constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps during the 1930s.

Windermere Golf Club - Cumming, The Windermere Golf Club is an 18 hole public golf course in Forsyth County Georgia. Built in 2000, this Cumming course designed by Davis Love III is open all year. Tee times are accepted by calling the pro shop at 678-513-1000. The golf course dress code is as follows: No denim, collared shirt and bermuda shorts required.
