Dahlonega Gold Museum Historic Site - Dahlonega, The Dahlonega Gold Museum Historic Site is a Georgia state historic site located in Dahlonega that commemorates America's first gold rush and the mining history of Lumpkin County. The museum is housed in the historic 1836 Lumpkin county courthouse, which is located in the center of the town square, and is the oldest surviving county courthouse in the state. Ducktown Basin Museum - , Ducktown, The Burra Burra Mine is a copper mine located in Ducktown, Tennessee, in the southeastern United States. Named after the famous mine in Australia, the Burra Burra Mine extracted over 15 million tons of copper ore during its years of operation between 1899 and 1959. The mine's remaining structures are now listed on the National Register of Historic Places as part of the Burra Burra Mine Historic District. The site is also home to the Ducktown Basin Museum, and the museum and mine are a Tennessee state historic site.

Fort Hollingsworth-White House - Alto, The Fort Hollingsworth-White House is a well-preserved example of an early frontier fort built in Alto, Georgia in the late 18th century. The fort was built around 1792 by Jacob Hollingsworth on newly opened lands resulting from treaties with the Cherokee nation, and was meant to protect the settlers in the area. The fort was adapted as a farm residence, principally by the White family, and has passed through generations of owners.
