Adventure Landing is a group of amusement parks located in Florida, New York, North Carolina and Texas. The first park was opened in Jacksonville Beach, Florida in 1995 by Adventure Entertainment Company. It was a success and nine other parks were constructed.

Alexander Brest Museum and Gallery  - Jacksonville,
The Alexander Brest Museum and Gallery is a museum that is situated in the Phillips Fine Arts Building on the campus of Jacksonville University. It was named for its primary benefactor. The museum features collections of carved ivory, Pre-Columbian artifacts, Steuben glass, Chinese porcelain, Cloisonne, Tiffany glass, and Boehm porcelain as well as rotating exhibitions.

Construction was begun in 1672 by the Spanish when Florida was a Spanish possession. During the twenty year period of British occupation from 1763 until 1784, the fort was renamed Fort St. Mark , and after Florida became a U.S. territory in 1821 the fort was again renamed Fort Marion, in honor of revolutionary war hero Francis Marion.
