Phoenix Lake Golf Course - Sonora, The Phoenix Lake Golf Course is a 9 hole public golf course in Tuolumne County California. Built in 1967, this Sonora course designed by Bert Stamps is open all year. Tee times are accepted up to 14 days in advance and the pro shop phone number for reservations is 209-532-0111. The golf course dress code is as follows: No tank tops or cutoffs.

Railtown 1897 State Historic Park - Jamestown, Railtown 1897 State Historic Park, and its operating entity, the Sierra Railway, is known as "The Movie Railroad." Both entities are a heritage railway and are a unit of the California State Park System. Railtown 1897 is located in Jamestown, California. The entire park preserves the historic core of the original Sierra Railway of California. The railway's Jamestown locomotive and rolling stock maintenance facilities are remarkably intact and continue to function much as they have for the last 100-plus years.
