Kings Valley Golf Course - Crescent City, The Kings Valley Golf Course is a 9 hole public golf course in Del Norte County California. Built in 1965, this Crescent City course is open all year. Tee times are accepted by calling the pro shop at 707-464-2886. The golf course dress code is as follows: Shirt and shoes required.

Redwood National and State Parks - The Redwood National and State Parks are located in the US, along the coast of northern California. Comprising Redwood National Park and California's Del Norte Coast, Jedediah Smith, and Prairie Creek Redwoods State Parks, the combined RNSP contain 133,000 acres. Located entirely within Del Norte and Humboldt Counties, the four parks, together, protect 45% of all remaining Coastal Redwood old-growth forests, totaling at least 38,982 acres.

Just outside of town at Trinidad State Beach you can explore some incredible tide pools. A ranger here pointed out barnacles, star fish, purple and green anemones, and a thick cluster of other sea life.
