Sonoma County Museum - Santa Rosa, The Sonoma County Museum, in Santa Rosa, California, is dedicated to the Sonoma County region's history, art, and culture. Healdsburg California offers plenty of child-friendly bounty, from accommodations in a charming hotel (we stayed at the Hotel Healdsburg) to the welcoming vineyards themselves.

The main attraction was the Point Reyes National Sea Shore. Our goal was to visit the Lighthouse Visitor Center at the farthest tip of the park, but we made several stops enroute.

Shelter Cove is a short drive on a narrow road from Garberville and the 101 freeway and the luxurious, English manor style accommodations available there at the Benbow Hotel.
