Carlson Center - Fairbanks, The John A. Carlson Community Activity Center is a 6,443-seat multi-purpose arena in Fairbanks, Alaska. It is home to the University of Alaska Fairbanks Nanooks ice hockey team of the CCHA, the Fairbanks Grizzlies of the Indoor Football League, and is also the site used for the university's commencement exercises as well as graduation ceremonies for Lathrop, West Valley, and North Pole High Schools. The building also served as the site for the Top Of The World preseason college basketball tournament until its demise in 2007.

Georgeson Botanical Garden - , University of, The Georgeson Botanical Garden is a botanical garden located at 117 West Tanana Drive on the University of Alaska Fairbanks campus in Fairbanks, Alaska in the US. The garden is used for both research and demonstration, and is open to the public during daylight hours, May through September, for a fee. It is part of the Alaska Agricultural and Forestry Experiment Station. The garden was named after Charles Christian Georgeson, USDA Special Agent in Charge of Alaska Investigations as of 1899.

Moose Mountain - Fairbanks, Moose Mountain is a small peak located about 10 km northwest of Fairbanks, Alaska. The area is perhaps best known as the home to the Moose Mountain Ski Resort, a small ski area which uses buses to transport skiers to the summit. The ski area has runs for varying levels of skier ability and covers 1250 vertical feet.

Skiland - Fairbanks, Skiland is a lift-served ski and snowboard area at Cleary Summit on the Steese Highway, 20 miles north of Fairbanks, Alaska. The area has one chairlift, North America's most-northern; it is 3300 feet long and serves 1057 feet of vertical rise. Road access and the lodge are on a barren ridgecrest at an elevation of 2470 feet, overlooking a wooded, north-facing bowl. Skiland is a mom-and-pop style ski area.
