Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo - Gulf Shores, The Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo opened in June 1989 in Gulf Shores, Alabama as Zooland Animal Park. It is operated by the Zoo Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and relies on admissions, memberships and contributions for its funding. It was the basis of the Animal Planet show The Little Zoo That Could.

Battleship Memorial Park - Mobile, Battleship Memorial Park is a military history park and museum that can be found on the western shore of Mobile Bay in Mobile, Alabama. It has a collection of notable aircraft and museum ships including the South Dakota-class battleship USS Alabama and Gato-class submarine USS Drum. The USS Alabama and USS Drum are both National Historic Landmarks, and the park as a whole is listed on the Alabama Register of Landmarks and Heritage.

Bellingrath Gardens and Home - Theodore, Bellingrath Gardens and Home is a 65-acre botanical garden and mansion that can be found on the Fowl River in Theodore, a suburb of Mobile, Alabama. The site was listed on the Alabama Register of Landmarks and Heritage on September 14, 1977 and on the National Register of Historic Places on October 19, 1982.

Bragg-Mitchell Mansion - Mobile, The Bragg-Mitchell Mansion, which is also referred to as the Bragg-Mitchell House, is a historic house museum in Mobile, Alabama. It was built in 1855 by Judge John Bragg and is the one of the most photographed buildings in the city as well as one of the more popular tourist attractions. The house has been attributed to John's brother, a local Alabama architect, Alexander J. Bragg.

Carlen House - Mobile, The Carlen House, which is also referred to as the Carlen House Museum, is a historic house museum in Mobile, Alabama. The house was built in the Gulf Coast cottage style in 1843. It was the residence of Michael and Mary Carlen, Irish immigrants, and their twelve children. Operated as a farm during the 19th century, the Mobile County School Board acquired 38 acres of the property from the Carlen family in 1923 as the site for a new public city school.

Conde-Charlotte House - Mobile, The Conde-Charlotte House, which is also referred to as the Kirkbride House, is a historic house museum in Mobile, Alabama. The earliest section of the building, the rear kitchen wing, was built in 1822. The main section of the house was added a few decades later and is two and a half floors. The entire structure is constructed of hand-made brick with a smooth stucco plaster over the exterior.
