Fort Conde - Mobile, Fort Conde, located in Mobile, Alabama, at 150 South Royal Street, is a reconstruction, at 4/5 scale, as a third of the original 1720s French Fort Conde at the site, which is also referred to as Fort Carlota and also Fort Charlotte.

Fort Gaines (Alabama) - Dauphin Island, Fort Gaines is a historic fort on Dauphin Island, Alabama. It was named for Edmund Pendleton Gaines. Established in 1821, it is best known for its role in the Battle of Mobile Bay during the American Civil War.

Fort Morgan (Alabama) - Gulf Shores, Fort Morgan is a historic fort at the mouth of Mobile Bay, Alabama. Some regard it as "one of the finest examples of military architecture in the New World." The post was named in honor of Revolutionary War hero Daniel Morgan. Construction was completed in 1834 and it received its first garrison in March of the same year.

George F. Crozier Estuarium - Dauphin Island, The Dauphin Island Sea Lab is Alabama's primary marine education and research center. DISL is the home site of the Marine Environmental Sciences Consortium and was founded by an act of the Alabama State Legislature in 1971. It also has a public aquarium specializing in estuarine organisms, the George F. Crozier Estuarium.
