Alabama Adventure - Bessemer, Alabama Adventure is an Alabama amusement park, located off Interstate 20/59 in Bessemer, just west of Birmingham and east of Tuscaloosa. It is owned by Adrenaline Family Entertainment which also operates the Clementon Amusement Park in New Jersey.

Alabama Jazz Hall of Fame - Birmingham, The Alabama Jazz Hall of Fame was founded in 1978, and opened a museum on September 18, 1993, with a mission "to foster, encourage, educate, and cultivate a general appreciation of the medium of jazz music as a legitimate, original and distinctive art form indigenous to America. Its mission is also to preserve a continued and sustained program of illuminating the contribution of the State of Alabama through its citizens, environment, demographics and lore, and perpetuating the heritage of jazz music.

Alabama Museum of Health Sciences - Birmingham, The Alabama Museum of the Health Sciences was opened and dedicated at the UAB campus in 1975. It was developed to display the health sciences in the areas of education, research, and practice in the U.S. with special emphasis on the state of Alabama and its contributors to the practice of medicine. It houses a combined collection of rare and important medical books and manuscripts—dating to the Middle Ages—and equipment, instruments, and objects from the health sciences.

Alabama Sports Hall of Fame - Birmingham, The Alabama Sports Hall of Fame is a state museum that is situated in Birmingham, Alabama, dedicated to communicating the state’s athletic history. The museum displays over 5,000 objects related to athletes who were born in Alabama or earned fame through athletics that reflects positively upon the state, usually through excellence at an educational institution or sporting event in Alabama. The ASHOF was established by state legislative act on August 14, 1967.

Arlington Antebellum Home & Gardens - Birmingham, Arlington Antebellum Home & Gardens is a former plantation house and 6 acres of landscaped gardens near downtown Birmingham, Alabama. The two-story frame structure was built between 1845-50 and features antebellum-era Greek Revival architecture. The house serves as a decorative arts museum, featuring a collection of 19th-century furniture, textiles, silver, and paintings. The garden features a restored garden room that is used for special events.

Arrowhead Golf Course - Jasper, The Arrowhead Golf Course is a 9 hole public golf course in Walker County Alabama. Built in 1970, this Jasper course designed by Lester Kilgore is open all year. Tee times are accepted by calling the pro shop at 205-384-3065. The golf course dress code is as follows: Shirt and shoes required.

Ave Maria Grotto - Cullman, Ave Maria Grotto, in Cullman, Alabama, is a landscaped, 4-acre park in an old quarry on the grounds of St. Bernard Abbey, providing a garden setting for 125 miniature reproductions of some of the most famous religious structures of the world. It was added to the Alabama Register of Landmarks and Heritage on February 24, 1976 and to the National Register of Historic Places on January 19, 1984.

Barber Motorsports Park - Birmingham, The Barber Motorsports Park is a large multi-purpose racing facility on a 740-acre site in Birmingham, Alabama in the US, that can be found on the eastern fringes of the city, near Leeds. In July 2009 officials announced that Barber will be the site of the IRL IndyCar Series Grand Prix of Alabama beginning in the 2010 season. Barber is also the home of the North American Porsche Driving School and the Kevin Schwantz Motorcycle School.

Bartow Arena - University of Alabama at Birmingham - Birmingham, Bartow Arena is an 8,508-seat multi-purpose arena in Birmingham, Alabama. It is home to the UAB Blazers men's and women's basketball teams as well as the women's volleyball team. The arena is named after Gene Bartow, the coach who largely built the school's men's basketball program from scratch over the last quarter of the 20th century. UAB initially played their games at the Birmingham Jefferson Convention Complex Arena, but moved its games to the on-campus facility beginning with the 1988-89 season.
