Alabama Department of Archives and History - Montgomery, The Alabama Department of Archives and History is the official repository of archival records for the U.S. state of Alabama. It was created by an act of the Alabama Legislature on February 27, 1901 with a primary mission of collecting and preserving artifacts relating to the history of the state. It was the first publicly funded, independent state archives agency in the US. It subsequently became a model for the establishment of archives in other states.

Alabama Governor's Mansion - Montgomery, The Alabama Governor's Mansion is the official residence of the Governor of Alabama and his or her family in the capital city of Montgomery, Alabama. The current Governor of Alabama, Bob Riley, and his wife, First Lady Patsy Riley, are the current residents. The original governor's mansion for Alabama was occupied from 1911 until 1950, when the current mansion was acquired. The current mansion was added to the National Register of Historic Places on July 3, 1972, listed as Governor's Mansion.

Beard-Eaves-Memorial Coliseum - Auburn University - Auburn, Beard–Eaves–Memorial Coliseum is a 10,500-seat multi-purpose arena on the campus of Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama. The arena, which opened in 1969, is best known as the former home of the Auburn men's and women's basketball and women's gymnastics teams. The teams finished their stays at the facility at the end of the 2009–10 season, with all of its tenants moving into the new Auburn Arena opening in time for the 2010–11 season.

First White House of the Confederacy - Montgomery, The First White House of the Confederacy was the executive residence of President Jefferson Davis and family while the capital of the Confederate States of America was in Montgomery, Alabama. Completely furnished with original period pieces from the 1850s and 1860s, the 1835 Italianate-style house is open to the public. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1974.

Garrett Coliseum - , State Fairgrounds, The Garrett Coliseum is an 13,500-seat multi-purpose arena in Montgomery, Alabama in the US. The arena is the centerpiece of the Alabama Agricultural Center, home to the Alabama National Fair. It was built in 1951 and named after W.W. Garrett, the first chairman of the Alabama Agricultural Board. The coliseum's first event was a concert by Hank Williams. From 2005 until 2007, it was home to the Montgomery Bears of the American Indoor Football Association.
