Louisiana is in the southern part of the United State with Baton Rouge as its capital and New Orleans as its largest city. Louisiana is known for its humid and subtropical climate. It contains many swamplands such as Lafayette, a wildlife preserve. New Orleans is famous for its delicious seafood and ethnic cuisine such as oysters on the half shell, crawfish, jambalaya and gumbo, its music (known as the birthplace of jazz) and especially for the world famous annual Mardis Gras event. It is truly a unique place with its own character and charm. Its major attractions are the French Quarters and Bourbon Street, and many 19th century mansions. It is one of the most visited places in the Unites States.

Beauregard-Keyes House - New Orleans
The Beauregard-Keyes House is a historic residence located at 1113 Chartres Street in the French Quarter, New Orleans, Louisiana. It is currently a museum focusing on some of the past residents of the house, most notably Confederate General Pierre Gustave Toutant Beauregard and American author Frances Parkinson Keyes.

Beaver Creek Golf Course - Zachary
The Beaver Creek Golf Course is an 18 hole public golf course in East Baton Rouge County Louisiana. Built in 2002, this Zachary course designed by Craig Schreiner is open all year. Tee times are accepted by calling the pro shop at 225-658-6338. The golf course dress code is as follows: Collared shirt, no other requirements.

Biedenharn Museum and Gardens - Monroe
The Biedenharn Museum and Gardens is a botanical garden and museum located beside the Ouachita River at 2006 Riverside Drive, Monroe, Louisiana. It is open Monday-Saturday, and half days Sunday.

Black Bayou Lake National Wildlife Refuge - Monroe
Black Bayou Lake National Wildlife Refuge is one of five refuges managed in the North Louisiana Refuges Complex and one of 545 refuges in the National Wildlife Refuge System. It was established in 1997 through a unique partnership with the city of Monroe, Louisiana. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has a free 99-year lease to manage the city-owned lake.

Blackham Coliseum - Lafayette
Blackham Coliseum is a multipurpose arena in Lafayette, Louisiana. It was built on the University of Louisiana at Lafayette campus in 1950 as the home to the then-named USL Bulldogs, now called the Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns basketball teams. It remained the home for the men's team until the Cajundome was completed in 1984. The women still play the majority of their games at Blackham Coliseum. It hosted the Southland Conference men's basketball tournament in 1982.

The Bluffs on Thompson Creek is an 18 hole resort golf course in East Feliciana County Louisiana. Built in 1988, this Saint Francisville course designed by Arnold Palmer is open all year. Tee times are accepted up to 4 days in advance and the pro shop phone number for reservations is 225-634-5551. The golf course dress code is as follows: No denim, collared shirt and bermuda shorts required.

The Cajundome is a 12,068 seat multi-purpose arena in Lafayette, Louisiana. It is home to the Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns basketball teams of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Lafayette Wildcatters of the Southern Indoor Football League and the Louisiana high school basketball state championship.
