Georgia is located in the southeastern United States, with Atlanta as it capital and its most populated city. It is also the last of the thirteen Colonies. The Blue Ridge Mountains are on the northern part of the state which is part of the Appalachian Mountains system. Atlanta is ranked by the National Geographic Traveler as "Places of a Lifetime". It has this unique mix of post –civil war architecture and shimmering high rises and lush greenery. It attracts millions of visitors. Among the many places to visit in Atlanta is the largest aquarium in the world, and Atlanta’s 30-acre Botanical Garden. Under the streets of Atlanta is to be found the Underground Atlanta, which is a large shopping and leisure area. It includes store, bars, restaurants and also nightclubs. For Nature lovers, the Chattahoochee National Forest is to be found in northern Georgia. It contains rivers, streams and recreational trails and is a great place for fishing and hiking.

Arena at Gwinnett Center - Duluth
The Arena at Gwinnett Center is an indoor arena that is situated in Duluth, Georgia. The Arena was an expansion to the already existing Gwinnett Center, which also includes a Performing Arts Center, and a Convention Center. The arena seats 11,500 for hockey, 12,750 for basketball, and 13,100 for major concerts. The AJC voted the Concession Stand as the best in the state. The Gwinnett Arena has contests in the summer to see who can fit the most hot dogs in their mouth.

Atlanta Botanical Garden - Atlanta
The Atlanta Botanical Garden is a 30 acre botanical garden located adjacent to Piedmont Park in Midtown Atlanta, Georgia in the US. Incorporated in 1976, the garden's mission is to "develop and maintain plant collections for the purposes of display, education, conservation, research and enjoyment".

Atlanta Cyclorama - Atlanta
The Atlanta Cyclorama is a cylindrical panoramic painting of the American Civil War Battle of Atlanta, . The cyclorama is housed in a museum, also called the "Atlanta Cyclorama", in Grant Park in Atlanta, Georgia. Visitors view the cylindrical painting from the inside, entering through an entrance in the floor. After being seated, the central cylinder rotates slowly affording a view of the entire painting. The painting at one time was the largest oil painting in the world, and if unrolled would measure 42 feet high by 358 feet long.

The Atlanta History Center is a museum that is situated in the Buckhead district of Atlanta, Georgia. It is one of America's premier history museums.

Atlanta Motor Speedway - Hampton
Atlanta Motor Speedway is a track just outside Hampton, Georgia, twenty miles south of Atlanta, . It is a 1.54-mile quad-oval track with a seating capacity of over 125,000. It opened in 1960 as a 1.5-mile standard oval. In 1994, 46 condominiums were built over the northeastern side of the track. In 1997, to standardize the track with Speedway Motorsports' other two 1.5-mile ovals, the entire track was almost completely rebuilt.

Augusta Canal - Augusta
The Augusta Canal is a historic canal located in Augusta, Georgia. The canal connects two points of the Savannah River. It was devised to harness the power of the fall line of the Savannah River for mills, to provide transportation of goods, and to provide drinking water for the city. It is the only canal in the world still used for its original purpose of providing power to textile mills.

Barnsley Inn & Golf - Adairsville
The Barnsley Inn & Golf is an 18 hole resort golf course in Bartow County Georgia. Built in 1999, this Adairsville course designed by Jim Fazio is open all year. Tee times are accepted up to 30 days in advance and the pro shop phone number for reservations is 770-773-7480. The golf course dress code is as follows: No denim, collared shirt and bermuda shorts required.

Bear's Best Atlanta - Suwanee
The Bear's Best Atlanta is an 18 hole public golf course in Gwinnett County Georgia. Built in 2002, this Suwanee course designed by Jack Nicklaus is open all year.
