Florida, nicknamed the "Sunshine State", is located in the southeast of the United States and is mostly a Peninsula, with the Atlantic Ocean to the east and the Gulf of Mexico to the West. Within the contiguous United States, Florida has the longest coastline. Its climate ranges from subtropical in the north, to tropical in the south. Tourism is major in Florida due to its warm weather and beautiful beaches. It encompasses amusement parks such as the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando (which consists of four theme parks and is the largest in the world), Busch Gardens, Universal Orlando Resort and Sea World. The Everglades National Park in Florida is a subtropical wilderness and is the largest in the United States. It gets many visitors every year, an average of about a million people. It contains hundreds of species of birds, fresh and saltwater fish and dozens of mammals and reptiles.

Air Force Armament Museum - Eglin Air Force Base
The Air Force Armament Museum, adjacent to Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, is the only facility in the U.S. dedicated to the display of Air Force armament. Founded in 1975, it was originally located in a converted gymnasium on the northeastern edge of the Eglin main base, adjacent to Valparaiso, Florida.

Air Force Space & Missile Museum - Cape Canaveral
The Air Force Space & Missile Museum is a museum that can be found at Launch Complex 26 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida. It includes artifacts from the early American space program and includes an outdoor rocket garden displaying rockets, missiles and space-related equipment chronicling the US Air Force.

Airco Golf Course - Clearwater
The Airco Golf Course is an 18 hole public golf course in Pinellas County Florida. Built in 1962, this Clearwater course designed by Chic Adams is open all year. Tee times are accepted up to 3 days in advance and the pro shop phone number for reservations is 727-573-4653. The golf course dress code is as follows: No tank tops or cutoffs.

The Albin Polasek House and Studio, officially known as the Albin Polasek Museum and Sculpture Gardens or The Polasek, is a historic site in Winter Park, Florida. It is located at 633 Osceola Avenue on three acres overlooking beautiful Lake Osceola. On May 2, 2000, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.

Alexander Brest Museum and Gallery - Jacksonville
The Alexander Brest Museum and Gallery is a museum that is situated in the Phillips Fine Arts Building on the campus of Jacksonville University. It was named for its primary benefactor. The museum features collections of carved ivory, Pre-Columbian artifacts, Steuben glass, Chinese porcelain, Cloisonne, Tiffany glass, and Boehm porcelain as well as rotating exhibitions.

American Airlines Arena - Miami
The AmericanAirlines Arena is a sports and entertainment arena that is situated in Downtown Miami, Florida along Biscayne Bay. It was constructed beginning in 1998 as a replacement for the Miami Arena and was designed by the architecture firms Arquitectonica and 360 Architecture. The Arena is home to the Miami Heat of the National Basketball Association. In the early 2000s, the Women's National Basketball Association team Miami Sol played at the arena from the team's birth in 2000 until the team's folding in 2002.
