The Great State of Washington
Washington State is located in the Pacific Northwest of the United States. It is situated North of Oregon and South of British Columbia. Most of its residents live in the metropolitan Seattle area.
Washington offers a plethora of options: you can visit a rainforest, wine country, a river canyon, mountain ranges, volcanoes, streams, and lakes and even a desert and islands - all within the State. In the winter there are many ski resorts where one can ski, snowboard, sled or just enjoy the gorgeous scenery while basking before a warm fireplace.
