Adam Thoroughgood House - , Beach, The Adam Thoroughgood House is a brick house in located within the neighborhood of Thoroughgood, in Virginia Beach, Virginia. It was at one time thought to have been built in 1636, but recent research has placed its construction ca. 1720. The building underwent major restorations in 1923 and in the 1950's and has served as a museum since opening to the public April 29, 1957. Much of the current structure was most likely the house of the great-grandson of Adam Thoroughgood.

Air Power Park - Hampton, The Air Power Park is an outdoor, roadside museum in Hampton, Virginia which recognizes Hampton's role in America's early space exploration and aircraft testing. The park is on a 15 acres plot and includes a children's playground. There is no inside museum or visitor center Several vintage aircraft and experimental space launch vehicles from the 1950s and 1960s are displayed out of doors.

Bluebird Gap Farm - Hampton, Bluebird Gap Farm is a public city park and petting zoo that is situated in Hampton, Virginia, at 60 Pine Chapel Road. It is designed to resemble a working farm, and features farm animals and fowl of all types, and wild animals native to Virginia. Visitors can buy food to feed the animals.

Buckroe Beach - , Buckroe Beach, Buckroe Beach is a neighborhood in the independent city of Hampton, Virginia. It lies just north of Fort Monroe and fronts the mouth of Hampton Roads at the Chesapeake Bay. One of the oldest recreational areas in the state, it was long located in Elizabeth City County near the downtown area of the lost town of Phoebus prior to their consolidation with Hampton in 1952.

The museum contains exhibits detailing the history and development of Cape Charles and the surrounding region. A large Busch-Sulzer engine and Westinghouse generator serve as the centerpieces of the museum.

Cape Henry Lighthouse - , Beach, The Cape Henry Lighthouse has long been important for the large amount of ocean-going shipping traffic for the harbors, its rivers, and shipping headed to ports on the Chesapeake Bay. It was the first lighthouse authorized by the U.S. government, dating from 1792. It was also the first federal construction project under the Constitution, for an original contract amount of $15,200. Built in 1990, this Newport News course designed by Tom Clark is open all year. For tee time information call the pro shop at 757-988-3220.
