African American Civil War Memorial Museum - Washington, The African American Civil War Memorial, at the corner of Vermont Avenue, 10th St, and U Street NW in Washington, D.C., commemorates the service of 209,145 African-American soldiers and sailors who fought for the Union in the American Civil War. The sculpture The Spirit of Freedom, a 9-foot bronze statue by Ed Hamilton of Louisville, Kentucky, was commissioned by the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities in 1993 and completed in 1997.

Algonkian Regional Park Golf Course - Sterling, The Algonkian Regional Park Golf Course is an 18 hole public golf course in Loudoun County Virginia. Arlington House, The Robert E. Lee Memorial - Arlington, Arlington House, The Robert E. Lee Memorial, which is also referred to as the Custis-Lee Mansion, is a Greek revival style mansion located in Arlington, Virginia in the US and was once the home of Confederate General Robert E. Lee. It overlooks the Potomac River, directly across from the National Mall in Washington, D.C. During the American Civil War, the grounds of the mansion were selected as the site of Arlington National Cemetery, in part to ensure that Lee would never again be able to return to his home.

Beall-Dawson House - Rockville, The The Beall-Dawson House is a historic home located at Rockville, Montgomery County, Maryland. It is a two and one-half story Federal house, three bays wide by two deep, constructed of Flemish bond brick on the front facade and common bond elsewhere. Outbuildings on the property include an original brick dairy house and a mid-19th century one-room Gothic Revival frame doctor's office which was moved to the site for use as a museum.
