Utah is a western state bordering Nevada, Arizona, Idaho, Colorado, part of Wyoming and touches a part of New Mexico. Most of the residents are part of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-day Saints, which has a great influence on the culture and daily living. Tourism is a great industry here and is famous for its all year round outdoor leisure activities such as its winter activities, especially since it hosted the 2002 Winter Olympics. Some of its Ski resorts, such as Deer Park, have been ranked top resorts in North America. Their proximity to large cities and accessibility to airport transportation make these resorts extremely attractive. It also contains five national parks: Zion, Arches, Bryce Canyon, Canyon lands and Capital Reef. Utah’s climate is mostly dry and arid with extreme temperatures of cold in the winter and very hot in the summer.

Alta - Alta
Alta is a ski area located in the Wasatch Mountains, just east of Salt Lake City, Utah. With a skiable area of 2200 acres, beginning at a base elevation of 8530 ft and rising to 10,550 ft for a vertical gain of 2020 ft. Alta is one of the oldest ski resorts in the country, opening its first lift in 1939. It has an average annual snowfall of 514 inches. Alta is one of three remaining ski resorts in America that prohibits snowboarders, along with nearby competitor Deer Valley and Vermont's Mad River Glen.

Anasazi State Park Museum - Boulder
Anasazi State Park is a state park and museum in Southern Utah featuring the ruins of an ancient Anasazi Village.

Arches National Park - Moab
Arches National Park is a U.S. National Park in eastern Utah. It is known for preserving over 2000 natural sandstone arches, including the world-famous Delicate Arch, in addition to a variety of unique geological resources and formations.

The Bear Lake Golf Course is a 9 hole resort golf course in Rich County Utah. Built in 1970, this Garden City course designed by William H. Neff is open apr 1 to nov 1. Beaver Mountain - Logan Canyon
Beaver Mountain is a ski area in northern Utah, located near the summit of Logan Canyon in the Bear River Mountains. While smaller and less developed than a number of Utah ski resorts, Beaver Mountain is very popular with residents of nearby Logan, Utah State University, the surrounding Cache Valley and the Bear Lake region, including the southeastern corner of Idaho. Opened in 1939, Beaver Mountain has a vertical drop of 1600 feet currently served by four chairlifts; the ski area is affectionately known as "The Beav.

Beehive House - Salt Lake City
The Beehive House is one of the two official residences of Brigham Young, an early leader of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The Beehive House gets its name from the Beehive sculpture atop the house. It was designed by Young's brother-in-law and architect of the Salt Lake Temple, Truman O. Angell, who later designed Young's other residence, the Lion House.
