Pennsylvania is located in the Mid-Atlantic region of the northeastern part of the United States. Its largest city is Philadelphia. It contains many national historic landmarks originating from the founding of the United States.

Many of the sites linked to the American Revolution in Philadelphia are preserved by the Independence National Historic Park. Included are the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall and dozens of educational centers and historic buildings. Most buildings are within Independence Mall; at one end is Independence Hall and at the other end is the National Constitution Center.

The Declaration of Independence and the Constitution were implemented at Independence Hall. As for the National Constitution Center, it has as its aim to expand knowledge and awareness of the U.S. Constitution and operates as a museum geared towards that goal.

Pennsylvania contains many attractions among which are several zoos such as the Eerie Zoo and Philadelphia Zoo. It also possesses some of the best museums in the country; among these are the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the Carnegie Museums, and is home to the largest aviary in America containing over 200 species of birds. It also offers a large number of amusement parks among which is Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom.
