The Atoka Golf Club is a 9 hole public golf course in Atoka County Oklahoma. Built in 1964, this Atoka course designed by Floyd Farley is open all year. Tee times are accepted by calling the pro shop at 580-889-7171. The golf course dress code is as follows: Shirt and shoes required.

2Fort Washita Historic Site - Durant,
Fort Washita is the former United States military post and National Historic Landmark located near Nida, Oklahoma on SH 199. Established in 1842 by General Zachary Taylor to protect citizens of the Choctaw and Chickasaw Nations from the plains indians it was later abandoned by Federal forces at the beginning of the American Civil War. Confederate troops held the post until the end of the war when they burned the remaining structures.
