Bandelier National Monument is a 33,677 acres National Monument preserving the homes of the Ancestral Pueblo People. It is named after Swiss anthropologist Adolph Bandelier, who researched the cultures of the area. Bandelier was designated a National Monument on February 11, 1916, while most of its backcountry became a "designated wilderness" in October 1976. The National Park Service co-operates with surrounding pueblos, other federal agencies and state agencies to manage the park, which receives 300,000 visitors annually.

The Black Mesa Golf Club is an 18 hole public golf course in Rio Arriba County New Mexico. Built in 2003, this Espanola course designed by Baxter Spann is open all year. For tee time information call the pro shop at 505-747-8946. The golf course dress code is as follows: No denim, collared shirt and bermuda shorts required.

The Bradbury Science Museum is the chief public facility of the Los Alamos National Laboratory, located at 1350 Central Avenue in Los Alamos, New Mexico, in the US. It was founded in 1963, and was named for the Laboratory's second director, Norris E. Bradbury. Among the museum's early exhibits, artifacts and documents from the World War II Manhattan Project were displayed upon declassification. Other exhibits include full size models of the Little Boy and Fat Man atomic bombs.

The Jemez People once occupied Gisewa Pueblo and many other Pueblos in this area.

Pajarito Mountain  - Los Alamos,
Pajarito Mountain Ski Area is that can be found on the north face of Pajarito Mountain, one of the Jemez Mountains in north central New Mexico, west of Los Alamos, . It is located on 850 acres of privately owned land. The Los Alamos Ski Club, a non-profit organization, owns and operates Pajarito. A typical season runs from Christmas to early April, but an outstanding season may run from Thanksgiving to late April.
