The Great State of New Mexico
New Mexico, located in the southwest of the United States was populated by Native Americans for centuries and has a high percentage of Hispanic population. Its climate is mostly arid and its terrain is mostly mountains and deserts.
The State is rich in ranching, old mines and railroad towns. This is also the State in which the Old West history gets its most legendary figures such as Billy the Kid and Pat Garrett. Traveling through the state’s old towns one can still feel the ghosts of these historic figures haunting the regions. You can explore the many scenic byways such as: Billy the Kid National Byway, Geronimo Trail National Scenic Byway and many more.
In New Mexico you can explore the Carlsbad Caverns National Park with its gorgeous natural limestone formations, one of many more National Parks and Monuments.
One famous staircase which is believed to have been built by Saint Joseph himself can be found in the Loretto Chapel in Santa Fe New Mexico. It is a spiral staircase which makes two complete turns and is built with no nails or center support!

1 Alameda Park Zoo

2 Alamogordo Museum of History

3 Albuquerque Aquarium

The highlight of the aquarium is a 285,000 gallon shark tank with a 38-foot-wide, 9-foot-high, 8-inch-thick acrylic viewing window.

9 Arroyo Seco Raceway
- DemingArroyo Seco Raceway is a paved roadcourse style race track, located near Deming, New Mexico. It also includes a drag strip and full race course. Akela Flats is roughly between Deming and Las Cruces. The racetrack is visible to traffic traveling on I-10, just to the south of the freeway.
