The Great State of Indiana
Indiana is located in the Midwest of the United States and in the Great Lakes Region. Indianapolis is the capital of the state of Indiana and it has dynamic tourist activities which revolve around abundant sporting events and conventions.
One of the most famous and best known sports events is the Indianapolis 500, the auto race which is held on Memorial Day weekend. Among others, Indianapolis is home to the NCAA, the National Federation of State High School Associations, the USA Gymnastics and USA Track and Field.
Among the many museums to visit in Indianapolis is the Children’s Museum which has five floors of exhibits and is the largest in the world.
Be sure to visit the Indiana State Fair which is held in August and attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors.

2 Allen County War Memorial Coliseum
- Fort WayneThe Allen County War Memorial Coliseum is a 13,000-seat multi-purpose arena in Fort Wayne, Indiana, initially built in 1952 for nearly $3 million in Fort Wayne's Johnny Appleseed Park. The Allen County War Memorial Coliseum was originally designed to seat 8,000 for hockey or 10,240 for basketball. In 2002, an extensive renovation and expansion was put into motion, which raised the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum's roof by 41 feet, therefore increasing the arena's seating capacity to 10,500 for hockey or music concerts and 13,000 for basketball.

5 Amish Acres
- NappaneeAmish Acres is a tourist attraction in Nappanee, Indiana created from an 80 acres Old Order Amish farm. The farm was purchased in October 1968 at auction from the Manasses Kuhns’ estate. The farm was homesteaded by Moses Stahly in 1873. Moses was the son of pioneer Christian Stahly who emigrated from Germany with his widowed mother Barbara and three brothers to the southwest corner of Elkhart County in 1839; making them, perhaps, the earliest Amish settlers in Indiana.

7 Angel Mounds State Historic Site
- EvansvilleAngel Mounds State Historic Site is that can be found on the Ohio River in Vanderburgh and Warrick Counties eight miles southeast of Evansville and just upriver of the confluence of the Green and Ohio rivers. Administered by the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, Division of Indiana State Museums and Historic Sites, it is one of 16 state museums and historic sites. In 1964 this major complex of earthworks was designated a National Historic Landmark because of its significance.

10 Assembly Hall - Indiana University
- BloomingtonAssembly Hall is a 17,456-seat arena on the campus of Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. It is the home of the Indiana Hoosiers basketball teams. It opened in 1971 , replacing the current Gladstein Fieldhouse. The court is named after Branch McCracken, the men's basketball coach who led the school to its first two NCAA National Championships in 1940 and 1953. Indiana installed a new state-of-the-art playing surface during the summer of 1995.
