Illinois is the most densely inhabited state in the Midwest. Its largest population concentration is in the Metropolitan area of Chicago with smaller and more rural towns in the rest of the state.

Chicago, also known as the "windy city" attracts countless tourists as well as business travelers. With its fashionable shopping along the "Magnificent Mile" hosting numerous elegant stores, wonderful restaurants and its attractive architecture, it is never short of visitors. Among the places to visit is the Chicago Cultural center with its exhibit halls and galleries and the brilliant tiffany dome in the Preston Bradley Hall.

Among the places to visit in Illinois is The Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago which hosts the most complete and biggest Tyrannosaurus Rex named Sue and the Lincoln Museum and Library in Springfield.
