Atlanta Motor Speedway is a track just outside Hampton, Georgia, twenty miles south of Atlanta. It is a 1.54-mile quad-oval track with a seating capacity of over 125,000. It opened in 1960 as a 1.5-mile standard oval. In 1994, 46 condominiums were built over the northeastern side of the track. In 1997, to standardize the track with Speedway Motorsports' other two 1.5-mile ovals, the entire track was almost completely rebuilt.

Indian Springs State Park is a 528 acre Georgia state park located near Jackson and Flovilla, . The park is named for its several springs, which the Creek Indians used for centuries to heal the sick. Indian Springs is thought to be the oldest state park in the nation. It was acquired from the Creek Indians by the state through the Treaty of Indian Springs and the Treaty of Washington. Thereafter, Indian Springs has been operated continuously by the state as a public park, although it did not gain the title "State Park" until 1931.
