Congregation Mickve Israel - Savannah, Congregation Mickve Israel, in Savannah, Georgia, is one of the oldest synagogues in the US, the congregation having begun in 1733. The synagogue, located on Monterey Square in historic Savannah, was consecrated in 1878, and is a rare example of a Gothic-style synagogue. The synagogue building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

Dorchester Academy - Midway, Dorchester Academy near Midway, Georgia is a historic site that is listed, in 2009, as one of the top 11 U.S. most endangered historic sites. The Dorchester Academy Boys' Dormitory on the site was built in 1935, was listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 1986, and was declared a U.S. National Historic Landmark in 2006.

Fort King George - Darien, Fort King George was a fort located in the U.S. state of Georgia. The fort was built in 1721 along the Altamaha River, and served as the southernmost outpost of the British Empire in the Americas until 1727. The fort was contructed in, what was considered at that time, the colony of South Carolina, but territory later settled as Georgia. It was to be one of many forts intended to precipitate frontier settlements that would expand Great Britain's southern border at the Savannah River to the Altamaha River.

Fort McAllister Historic Park - , Keller, Fort McAllister Historic Park is a 1,725 acre Georgia state park located near Keller and Richmond Hill in South Bryan County, Georgia and on the south bank of the Ogeechee River. The park is home to the best preserved earthwork fortification of the Confederacy. Though the earthworks were attacked seven times by Union soldiers, it did not fall until taken by General Sherman in 1864 during his famous March to the Sea.

Fort Morris Historic Site - Midway, Fort Morris Historic Site is a Georgia state historic park in Liberty County, Georgia in the US. The fort is on a bend in the Medway River and played an important role in the protection of southeast Georgia throughout various conflicts beginning in 1741 and ending in 1865 at the conclusion of the American Civil War, including the French and Indian and American Revolutionary Wars and War of 1812. The historic site is 70 acres and sits at an elevation of 23 feet.
