The Great State of Georgia
Georgia is located in the southeastern United States, with Atlanta as it capital and its most populated city. It is also the last of the thirteen Colonies. The Blue Ridge Mountains are on the northern part of the state which is part of the Appalachian Mountains system.
Atlanta is ranked by the National Geographic Traveler as "Places of a Lifetime". It has this unique mix of post –civil war architecture and shimmering high rises and lush greenery. It attracts millions of visitors. Among the many places to visit in Atlanta is the largest aquarium in the world, and Atlanta’s 30-acre Botanical Garden. Under the streets of Atlanta is to be found the Underground Atlanta, which is a large shopping and leisure area. It includes store, bars, restaurants and also nightclubs.
For Nature lovers, the Chattahoochee National Forest is to be found in northern Georgia. It contains rivers, streams and recreational trails and is a great place for fishing and hiking.

1 A. H. Stephens Historic Park

The park is named for Alexander Hamilton Stephens, the Vice President of the Confederate States of America, and a former Georgia governor. The park contains Stephens' home, Liberty Hall, which has been fully restored to its original 1875 style. The park's museum houses one of Georgia's largest collections of Civil War artifacts.

4 Alexander Memorial Coliseum - Georgia Tech

It is the home of the basketball teams of Georgia Tech and hosted the Atlanta Hawks of the NBA from 1968–1972 and again from 1997–1999. 7 Andalusia (Milledgeville, Georgia)
- MilledgevilleAndalusia is the name of Southern American author Flannery O'Connor's rural Georgia estate. The estate is located in Baldwin County, Georgia, about 4 miles northwest of Milledgeville. It comprises 544 acres, including the house where O'Connor penned some of her last and best-known fiction. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980 and opened to the public in 2003. The estate is currently maintained by The Andalusia Foundation, Inc.

8 Andersonville National Historic Site

10 Archibald Smith Plantation Home
- RoswellThe Archibald Smith Plantation Home, is a plantation in Roswell, Georgia built in 1845. The home was built by one of Roswell's founders, Archibald Smith, and housed three generations of his family. The home was restored by the third generation, Arthur and Mary Smith, in 1940. The home was sold to the City of Roswell in 1986 and opened to the public as a house museum in 1992.
