Utah is a western state bordering Nevada, Arizona, Idaho, Colorado, part of Wyoming and touches a part of New Mexico. Most of the residents are part of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-day Saints, which has a great influence on the culture and daily living. Tourism is a great industry here and is famous for its all year round outdoor leisure activities such as its winter activities, especially since it hosted the 2002 Winter Olympics. Some of its Ski resorts, such as Deer Park, have been ranked top resorts in North America. Their proximity to large cities and accessibility to airport transportation make these resorts extremely attractive. It also contains five national parks: Zion, Arches, Bryce Canyon, Canyon lands and Capital Reef. Utah’s climate is mostly dry and arid with extreme temperatures of cold in the winter and very hot in the summer.

The Blackrock/The Point Course at Sunbrook Golf Club is a 27 hole public golf course in Washington County Utah. Built in 1997, this Saint George course designed by John Harbottle is open all year. For tee time information call the pro shop at 435-634-5866. The golf course dress code is as follows: No tank tops or cutoffs.

The Bountiful Ridge Golf Course is an 18 hole public golf course in Davis County Utah. Built in 1975, this Bountiful course designed by William H. & William Howard Neff is open mar 1 to nov 30. Brian Head - Brian Head
Brian Head Ski Resort, officially called just "Brian Head Resort", is a ski area located at the town of Brian Head, Utah in the southern Wasatch Range at the base of Parowan, Utah. Opened in 1965, it is Utah's highest ski resort. Brian Head is owned by Jim Trees and is operated and managed by Henry Hornberger of Parowan.

Brigham Young Winter Home and Office - St. George
The Brigham Young Winter Home and Office is a historic residence and museum that is situated in St. George, Utah. Brigham Young was the foremost Mormon pioneer and led the church to the Utah Territory. As Young grew older, his arthritis precluded him from spending winters in the Salt Lake City region, so his followers built him a winter home in St. George in the arid Dixie region of Utah. Young seasonally occupied the home and office from 1873 to 1876.

Brighton - Big Cottonwood Canyon
Brighton Ski Resort is a ski area located in Big Cottonwood Canyon, 30 miles from downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. Brighton Ski Resort was the first ski resort in Utah, and one of the first in the US. Brighton was started in 1936 when members of the Alpine Ski Club built a rope tow from wire and an old elevator motor. Brighton claims to be a "no-frills" resort whose sole business is to provide skiers and snowboarders with top-notch trails.

Bryce Canyon National Park - Bryce
Bryce Canyon National Park is a national park located in southwestern Utah in the US. The major feature of the park is Bryce Canyon which, despite its name, is not a canyon but a giant natural amphitheater created by erosion along the eastern side of the Paunsaugunt Plateau. Bryce is distinctive due to geological structures called hoodoos, formed by wind, water, and ice erosion of the river and lake bed sedimentary rocks.

Burns Arena - Dixie State College of Utah - St. George
Burns Arena is a multi-purpose arena in St. George, Utah. It is the home of the Dixie State College of Utah Red Storm basketball teams. The capacity of the arena is 5,000 people. It is located near Bruce Hurst Field and Hansen Stadium.
