Delaware is located in the northeastern part of the United States on the Atlantic Coast; its capital is Dover and its largest city is Wilmington.

There are four parks which can be visited in Wilmington and they are minutes apart from each other. These are Alapocas Woods Natural Area, Brandywine Zoo (the only zoo in Delaware) and Baynard Stadium, Rockford Park and Fletcher Brown Park.

There is a ferry system which navigates the 17-mile Delaware Bay and connects the city of Lewes, Delaware with Cape May in New Jersey. It is meant for transportation and doubles as a tourist attraction. The ride offers a view of three lighthouses. On the Lewes side are Delaware Breakwater East End Lighthouse and Harbor Refuge Lighthouse. On the New Jersey side is Cape May Lighthouse.

The Delaware Seashore State Park is visited by millions of people who enjoy a large range of water activities. The Holts Landing State Park encompasses a pier which was built specifically for the leisure harvesting of blue crab.

Among the several festivals that are held each year and the most popular is the Italian Festival in honor of St. Anthony of Padua, held and run by the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Several blocks are closed down and there are carnival rides, food, music along with many activities and games. It is held in the summer every year in the month of June.
