Indoor Water Parks are the perfect mini vacation for my family! Not only are my kids obsessed with water parks, but they’ve also been disappointed numerous times by cancellations due to bad weather for planned trips. That’s why we plan day trips as well as weekend trips to this AMAZING indoor water park! Now we all count down the days until we go and never have to worry about rain! I couldn’t recommend them more!

Great tips! My kids LOVE the Great Wolf Lodge! We go to the waterpark after lunch & stay until cloinsg (9/10pm). Lines aren’t too long then as families with younger ones leave at nap time and turn in early. There’s an arcade,fantasy-themed quest, separate kids & teens clubhouses,a spa & a kids-only spa.

Living in Ohio, we have gone to indoor waterparks for many spring breaks with our kids over the last 10 years. We’ve been to three on this list: Kalahari and Great Wolf in Sandusky and Wilderness at the Smokies. I recommend any of them for a dependably good time. We’ve even stayed at Cedar Point’s Castaway Bay during the summer, to ensure we had something for the kids to do in case it rained. There are a couple at Niagara Falls as well, offering an activity break from the touristy Clifton Hill area. When travelling our kids, we always stay at a hotel with at least an indoor pool, and look for an indoor waterpark if we going somewhere for more than a few days.
